St Andrew’s Cathedral, Warri since its inception  had stood on the foundations of Matthew 22:37-40, “love the Lord your God with all your heart, with all your soul, and with all your mind. This is the first and greatest commandment. And the second is like it: love your neighbor as yourself. All the Law and Prophets hang on these two commandments.”

We believe in reaching lost and broken people, and meeting them right where they are. At St. Andrew’s Cathedral Warri, you’ll find that it’s a place where people love and care for one another, and a place to feel valued.

We’re all about people because God is all about people. One of the ways we express our love for Him is through our love for people, and we do that by helping each person who comes to Gateway grow in their relationship with the Lord.

At St. Andrew’s Cathedral we believe in one God, who is Father, Son, and Holy Spirit, and the Savior of all who put their faith in Him alone for eternal life.

History has it that the birth of the St. Andrew’s Anglican Church stems from the homecoming of the freed slaves from the Gold Coast, which is present-day Ghana, important towns began to develop especially along the coast; amongst.
